How to connect your OTV box to Wi-Fi

Join your home Wi-Fi from the Settings menu of your OTV Prime 11000. It takes about a minute.

1. Press the Settings button on your remote.
2. Select Network & Internet and press OK.
3. Choose your Wi-Fi network from the list.
4. Type your password with the on-screen keyboard, then select the tick.
5. Your OTV connects in a few seconds.

OTV Prime 11000 has dual-band Wi-Fi, so it can join 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks. For the steadiest connection, plug the Ethernet cable from the box into your router instead.

How to connect a Bluetooth device to your OTV box

Pair Bluetooth headphones, a speaker or another accessory with your OTV Prime 11000.

1. Press the Settings button on your remote.
2. Scroll down to Bluetooth and press OK.
3. Put your device in pairing mode, then select it from the list.
4. When the pairing request appears, choose Pair.

How to pair the OTV remote

Pair the OTV Bluetooth remote with your OTV Prime 11000 box.

1. Long press the “OK” and “VOLUME UP” keys together for 3 seconds.
2. Wait for the red LED indicator on the remote to start blinking.
3. “OTV Remote” will appear in “Remotes & Accessories”.

The remote also has infrared built in, so its keys work when it is pointed at the front of the box.

How to run an internet speed test on your OTV box

Check how fast the internet connection reaching your OTV Prime 11000 is, using the free Speed Test app.

1. From the home screen, scroll down and open Apps Market.
2. Go to the Tools category.
3. Select Speed Test and press OK to install it.
4. Press Home and scroll down to find the app.
5. Press OK to open it. In a few seconds you will see your internet speed.

How to download apps on your OTV box

Install apps on your OTV Prime 11000 from the Apps Market. Google Play is built in as well.

1. From the home screen, scroll down and open Apps Market.
2. Pick a category, then select the app you want.
3. Press OK and confirm to install it.
4. Press Home and scroll down. Your new app is there, ready to open.

How to delete an app from your OTV box

Remove an app you no longer use from your OTV Prime 11000, from the home screen or from Settings.

1. On the home screen, scroll down and highlight the app you want to remove.
2. Press the Menu button, then choose OK to uninstall it.
3. Or use Settings: open Apps, then See all apps.
4. Pick the app and select Uninstall, then choose OK to confirm.

How to set up AutoStart on your OTV box

With AutoStart, the app you choose opens by itself every time your OTV Prime 11000 turns on.

1. Press the Settings button and scroll down to AutoStart.
2. Press OK, then choose the app you want.
3. Restart your OTV.
4. Your app now opens automatically every time the box turns on.

How to lock and unlock an app on your OTV box

Put a password on any app on your OTV Prime 11000 with AppLock, and take it off again.

1. Press the Settings button and scroll down to AppLock.
2. Enter your password. The default is four zeros.
3. Select the app you want to lock. From now on it asks for the password before it opens.
4. To unlock it, go back to AppLock and select the app again.

How to change the background on your OTV box

Choose a different picture for the home screen of your OTV Prime 11000.

1. From the home screen, press Up to reach the top bar.
2. Move right to the Background Images icon and press OK.
3. Choose the picture you like and press OK.
4. Your new background is applied in a few seconds.

How to turn the screensaver on or off on your OTV box

Switch the screensaver on your OTV Prime 11000 off, or choose how long it waits before starting.

1. Press the Settings button on your remote.
2. Scroll down to Device Preferences and press OK.
3. Open Screen saver, then select When to start.
4. Choose Never to turn it off, or pick a time to keep it on.

How to adjust the screen size on your OTV box

If the picture from your OTV Prime 11000 is cut off at the edges or too small, resize it to fit your TV.

1. Press the Settings button and open Device Preferences.
2. Go to Display & Sound, then Screen position.
3. Select Zoom in screen or Zoom out screen.
4. Each press of OK resizes the picture. Keep going until it fits your TV.

How to change the time zone on your OTV box

Set the right time zone on your OTV Prime 11000 so the clock and the TV guide show the correct time.

1. Press the Settings button and open Device Preferences.
2. Select Date & Time, then Set time zone.
3. Scroll to your time zone and press OK.
4. Go back to the home screen and select the Refresh icon at the top right. The new time appears within a minute.

How to clear the cache on your OTV box

Free up space and keep your OTV Prime 11000 running fast with the built-in Cleaner.

1. From the home screen, press Up to reach the top bar.
2. Move right to the Cleaner icon.
3. Press OK. Your OTV clears its cache in seconds.

How to factory reset your OTV box

Return your OTV Prime 11000 to the way it was when new. A factory reset erases all your apps and settings.

1. Press the Settings button and open Device Preferences.
2. Select About, then Factory reset.
3. A factory reset erases all your apps and settings. If you are sure, choose Erase everything and confirm.
4. The reset takes three to four minutes. Do not unplug the box while it runs.
